9 Tips for Our Coffee Partners
We know everyone’s situation is different right now and what might work for one business, may not work for yours. One thing is certain though, coffee is a staple and part of people’s everyday routine. We’ve compiled a list of 9 coffee-related tips for responding to the market conditions created by the new coronavirus (and the disease it causes, COVID-19). Try one, or all of them, and let us know how it goes!
Reassure Diners of Food Safety
Outline what you and your staff are doing on your website, with inserts in your to-go bags and in a friendly way through your social media. Have baristas wear gloves and sanitize common touchpoints frequently throughout the day.
To-Go Carriers for Easy Delivery
If you’re offering single cups of coffee for delivery or to-go, double carriers offer security en route for hot and cold beverages.
Send a Coffee to a Friend
Encourage your customers to send their friends, co-workers, or a healthcare worker a cup of cheer! Create a bundle of your most popular pastry or dessert and a cup of coffee. Allow customers to add a note to the package!
Offer a Coffee Loyalty Card
Encourage frequent customers to purchase a Coffee Loyalty Card now that will get them a discount on coffee in the future.
Encourage repeat business
Put a coupon for a free drink or %off with next purchase in To-Go bags with a code redeemable by phone order.
Gift cards!
People are going to want to get out once they can, so you can encourage them to spend now for future use.
Social Media Ads
If you’ve never experimented with a targeted FaceBook or Instagram ad, now is the time. You can reach local people, who are interested in dining, and who are already online more than ever.
Capture Afternoon Sales
Are you missing out on coffee beverage revenue due to higher afternoon and evening traffic? Offer cold brew coffee on your lunch and dinner delivery and to-go menus. Consumption of cold coffee beverages rises throughout the day!
Offer a Weekend Brunch
Create a limited menu for the weekends that includes family style dishes, bulk coffee, and cocktail mixers.
